outfit of the day. #1

i thought i'd kick off my blog with a quick outfit of the day post, since they've proved popular across social media before. i often wear black as it's the simplest option to go for and looks good without much effort

i've been wearing this cheap black snapback for over a year and teamed it with so many different outfits over that time. as i previously mentioned, black is so versatile and my wardrobe is packed with it.

agora is a sick label, originating as a vintage outlet but now making their own clothes as well. their site still features vintage clothing but they have a great selection of long-sleeve and short-sleeve tees with skater flair and urban appeal. you should check them out (https://agoraclothing.com/).

since i had leftover money on asos vouchers from christmas and my birthday, i thought i'd scour the site for denim shorts, as i'd previously had no luck in vintage clothing stores. pull & bear do a cool range of them and here i'm wearing the dark wash shorts available on the asos website. denim is even more all-purpose than black.

i've been wearing white socks with black footwear for what seems like a lifetime. i just like the contrast between the extremes and its roots come from my more feminine days when i'd match white jeans and socks with leather mod-style monkey boots (and a leopard print coat, whoops).

black old skool vans are already timeless. they are an iconic piece in the history of footwear. i've seen so many different outfits work well with these vans and i pounced when i spotted a pair for around £30 on ebay last summer. most brand new pairs will set you back £45-£50. i've been meaning to buy a beige pair for some time to match more neutral colours.
